Mikes personal advice:
I love cycling, I love the city of Auckland - the city which I have spend the most time of my adult life living in - and sharing these passions of mine with others on my bike tours, I find very satisfying.
You may wonder if you can bike the somehow hilly streets of Auckland. Yes you can.
Our bikes are new, modern and equipped with many gear options making it a breeze shooting uphill. And the bike tours are tailored to avoid the worst hills and traffic, like the City Tour which only includes one moderate, easy climb.
Biking is exploration with your mind, senses and body at the highest possible level.
Inspired by Danish writer Vilhelm Andersen in 1902, I say: "As a member of the bourgeois society I am constrained: on my bicycle I am free. As a citizen of Auckland I am a poor, landless creature paying taxes to roads. On my bicycle I am master of the entire country and knight of all highways, byways and tracks."
So what are you waiting for? Get your bum out of the bus seat, hop on the bike and experience the awesome city of Auckland together with me. Haere Mai.
Happy biking & travels, Bike Mike
